Rules

We really want you to have a great time at Bill's Lakes and following a few rules combined with a bit of common sense will help you to enjoy your stay. If you have any problems please call Bill at any time.

  • Three rod limit. Extra rod allowed for live bait fishing.
  • Rods must not be left unattended at any time.
  • The use of large poly-ball unhooking mats is compulsory and these are available for hire from us at £5 for a week.
  • No boats.
  • Bait boats are allowed.
  • Catch and release policy means no sacking of fish.
  • No fixed rigs, death rigs or bent hooks - lines will be checked!
  • Line must be a minimum of 15lbs (7kg).
  • No braided main line
  • No dogs are allowed. (except with prior permission.)
  • No swimming.
  • No fires allowed. Contained Bar B Q’s only.
  • Please respect the right of other anglers to fish undisturbed.
  • Music to a minimum.
  • No shouting across the lake.
  • You must have "klinik" or some other antiseptic with you to treat fish.
  • All bivvies to be green or a dark colour.
  • Litter must be placed in the bags provided and brought to the reception area on departure or when full.
  • If fishing for Catfish the use of correct equipment and un-hooking gear essential.

There is NO Admission to the swims before 10am and you MUST leave the swims by 9am on the day of departure. The management will accept no responsibility for accident or loss. Failure to comply with any of the above rules may result in EXPLUSION FROM THE COMPLEX.
