Acquired 5 years ago this lake keeps the surprises coming. We are pretty sure this year it will produce a 50lbs + Carp to some lucky client ! The lake is 3½ acres and bordered on 3 sides by mature trees with an average depth of 3 meters. The main bank provides very easy access to the water with the majority of fish being caught from the opposite bank. The use of a bait boat banks a lot more fish! These are available for hire, please ask about them when booking.


The stock in this lake is enormous with 250 Carp, 20 Catfish, 2 Sturgeon, numerous Grass Carp and 6 Koi Carp. The fishing though is very specific, as with the presence of Poisson Chats the use of Boilies in the warmer weather can be futile. The way to catch is to use Particle bait such as Tiger Nuts, Maize, Brazil Nuts, Cashews or any artificial bait like plastic corn. Rock hard air dried Boilies can work well and the use of Boilie sleeves has proved very effective last year.

Set in the middle of the countryside this lake is only 5 minutes from the main lake where hot showers and toilets are free for you to use and are available all day.

On Bill’s Lake 2 there is a fully equipped caravan included in the price which includes a double hob, fridge and somewhere to sit and eat in comfort plus there is a separate porta loo cabin. It is equipped with everything you should need to cook and eat and all you need to bring is linen. It can also be used for somewhere for the “other half” to sleep if there’s no room in the bivvy! A small refundable deposit (£50) is required for the use of the caravan.

In the evening wild animals come to drink from the lake so don’t be surprised to see a deer drinking from your swim in the morning! We visit the lake each day to bring you fresh drinking water. We check to see if you’re catching, offer moral support and advice and generally be of any help we can.

The lake is let on an “exclusive basis” with a maximum of 4 anglers fishing at any one time. The rendez-vous point is at Bill's Lake 1 at 11.00a.m. on the Saturday morning and your group would be guided to the lake from there.

The departure time is 9.00 am the following Saturday morning and the deposit for the caravan will be refunded once the caravan has been checked.
