Just a few lines to say thanks again for another fabulous week's fishing on
Lake 1 , our group
of 8 anglers caught around 30 carp over the week which included 5 40's and
many 30's and a new
personal best for Mark Cooke who caught a stunning mirror of 56 lb 12oz
fishing the No 1 swim.

As usual you were on hand to give advice on methods and tactics and
supplying those awesome Tiger
Nuts which was much appreciated, the new shower block and toilets with hot
water 24/7 were also
very welcome as well.

Hope to see you again next year.

Ruth did a great job ,breakfast was on time, bait was there on arrival and dinner was fantastic ,even the potato was good !!!

Thanks for a lovely weeks fishing on Bills Lake 1.


We are working with a new company for 2010...Fish and Trips is a company that will bring you..your tackle and bait to the lake and then get you back home the following week. Keep a look out for the new link on the home page or ring me ......great service.
The week started off very slow for me i dropped fish early doors and i thought the blank was inevitable. Until 1AM on Friday morning i had my first and PB a 34lb 14oz mirror, i was over the moon with it.
Another 2 followed in the next 24 hrs a 22lb 10oz common and a 30lb 10oz mirror.
Food was fantastic and the company was spot on.
Also thanks to all of the other anglers that fished the same week as me your hospitality
and help was second to none you really made my a holiday a special one..
Will definitely fish again and would recommend the venue to anyone.

Just a quick note to say thanks for a great trip starting on the 5th September, we had a great start to the week pulling out 5 fish in the first 2 days with the biggest at 44.8lb...New PB for me.
The weather was great when we got there but it warmed up and slowed the fishing down.
over all a great lake.
would love to come again some time.

Bills Lake 2
The fishing has been very good with some impressive catches. Sorry no one has had time to put pen to paper.
The best methods seem to be fishing Maize and Tigers with nothing else !!! Any other baits (boilies ) seem to be mullered by the Poisson chats. Keeping off the boilies and on the particle baits work well.
I was down at the lake yesterday for about 15 minutes and saw 10 carp come clean out of the water.....great to see !!!!

Last weeks group had great sucess with 60 runs for 45 fish banked. A few 30's and a very impressive Koi of nearly 30lbs !!!

Bills Lake 3
Hi Ruth.As promised here is our lake report.

We would like to thank you for a great week at a very nice lake.
I started the week off with 3 tench,before catching the first of 7 carp.The first giving me my first pb of the week,a 23lb4oz leather carp.I went on to have 6 mirror carp.The smallest being 15lb3oz,3 x 20's(1,just short of being a 30)A 35lb and then a great 43lb mirror.I had a slow back end of the week on swim 1 when the wind became face on.
Jon,on swim 4 had the busiest week,caught a whole range of fish.26 in total,but losing 23 due to fishing at range over weed.20 of the fish were a mix of mirror and common.11 doubles,8 in the 20's,and towards the end of the week a very nice 33lb14oz common
Paul enjoyed his week aswell.He started on swim 6 but moved to swim 3 later in the week.He got himself a new pb common at 27lb14oz,along with 2 more 20's and a double.
Rob(the king of the grass carp),started the week with a lovely 36lb12oz grassy in swim 6.The first of 5 for the week.2 34's,a 29 and a 15lb.All battlers.He caught 7 other carp,4 doubles,2 in the 20's and a nice 31lb2oz mirror.
Once again,thanks for the week,and no doubt we will see you another year.

hi bill these are some pic of the fish i caught frm lake 3 in swim 1 from the 19 th of sep to the 26th of sep. the biggest was a 37lb 2 oz common then a 31lb 5oz mirror and six 20's and one 18lb mirror.
