Toilets and Showers

We have a hot shower room next to an English style toilet for your use 24/7. The shower facility is shared with Lakes 2 and 4.

Swims

The lake essentially consists of 3 double swims and one single swim, but the single is often fished as a double giving each angler a choice where to fish from. The waters’ edge is accessed by steps on two of the doubles. Swims are easy to get to with parking behind and all swims have cabins and picnic benches and raised platforms for your disposable BBQ’s.

Tackle and Equipment Hire

You can hire Angling Technics MK3 Microcat bait boats with batteries and a solar panel, even a fridge and gas for the week. These are 44 litre capacity with plenty of room for your beers! Please reserve these well in advance online, once they’re gone, they’re gone! We also have a few bedchairs for hire if you need to save space in your vehicle, please contact Bill directly to reserve.

Lake Bait

We offer a range of bait that we have confidence in and we recommend the use of on all our lakes. Boilies and all the associated dips etc must ordered and paid for 8 weeks before your holiday, so that we can be sure to have them in stock for your holiday. If you wish to use particles then these must be purchased from us and should be ordered, at the latest, two weeks before your holiday but will be paid for on arrival. All our prepared particles are cooked fresh for when you arrive and supplied in buckets with snap seal lids. We suggest that you order what you need to start with, then we can top you up during the week if needed with no problem.

Water and Electricity

We don't have onsite running water for drinking but we will fill your water carriers for you and drop them off at your swim. We don't have onsite mains electric but we have a UK socket solar charging point on the lake where you can charge your boat batteries and phones etc. This is available f.o.c and is available 24/7... just remember to bring your chargers!

Local Amenities

The shops can be found nearby with a Hypermarket and McDonalds being only a few miles away.  Cigarettes can only be purchased from a Tabac in France, the nearest is about 3 miles away There is an amazing bakery in the nearby village of Matougues, so tempting! We even have a local pizza shop that will deliver your Pizzas and Kebabs direct to the lake! Information and directions for everything you should need is posted inside every cabin.
